Mike’s mastery of the FireOne scripting and choreography programs has made it possible for him to design any fireworks effect imaginable.

Mike has an extensive portfolio of major programs that includes among them; Fair Saint Louis, Chicago Navy Pier, Disney World, Six Flags Saint Louis and many many more. Mike perfected a technique of using a mixture of aerial shells, special low level effects and close proximate devices that create a level of excitement and intensity, bar none. Also his technique of using the close proximate devices at the appropriate times during the program give it a sense of extreme precision unparalleled in the industry.

Mikes extensive knowledge of fireworks ranges from product to development to show design. His familiarity with the wide range of product offered by various manufactures, makes it possible for him to locate and obtain virtually any effect needed to create the perfect moment in the display.

Kevin is responsible for ordering, shipping, and storing all pyrotechnic product. Additionally, Kevin is responsible for maintaining the master schedule and ensuring that a smooth and efficient logistical plan is prepared for every event. This includes product and equipment allocation, truck routing and site inspections are all correct.

Kevin co-wrote the company training manual for new technicians and he is the mentor to most of the newer technicians. Kevin’s experience goes well beyond that of a pyrotechnician he is a veteran Firefighter on the St. Louis Fire Department. He understands the serious need for attention to safety and conveys that while teaching in a classroom and in the field.

Kevin monitors all the new developments in this highly regulated industry tracking all the changes in federal, state and local laws and regulations. He is committed to providing the safest programs possible and is always striving to learn new techniques and practices. Marc began as a Pyrotechnic Technician over 5 years ago, during which time he gained the keen insight needed to serve our company and technical staff. Marc’s experience with pyrotechnics is as varied as being the Lead Technician at the Chicago Navy Pier, to providing special indoor effects in a wedding banquet hall.

In addition to his HR duties, Marc is also the compliance officer, dealing with all federal, state and local officials on matters such as DOT compliance and State Licensing for our Technicians. Marc co-wrote the company training manual for new technicians and he is responsible to ensure that all Gateway technicians receive orientation and training into the safe handling of pyrotechnic product.

Every Gateway Crew Leader must also possess a Commercial Driver’s License with a hazmat endorsement for transporting explosives. Marc ensures that every Gateway Fireworks technician or driver complies with all DOT regulations and that Time and Mileage registers are properly maintained. Marc’s primary goal and objective is in ensuring Gateway Fireworks maintains the highest standard of safety in the industry.

John is a lifelong resident of the St. Louis area and is a graduate of Webster University where he attained a Master of Arts Degree in Management. He will coordinate all the activities involved in your program to ensure a smooth progression from set-up to clean up of the displays. John is experienced in working with all of the agencies involved in a major fireworks display from the local Fire Marshall’s office to the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms.

As the program manager and point man, John will be available at all times to address any needs, concerns, or contingencies that may arise. He is a customer service specialist with extensive knowledge of NFPA and OSHA regulations and other industry guidelines.
